She rushed up to Hendel and lifted her arms as if to hug her, but some sort of embarrassment made Clover step back just as quickly with hands behind her back. Her excitement still showed through how brightly the girl beamed, and how loud her voice still was.
“Professor, you have no idea how relieving it is to see a familiar face around. Ah, how have you been doing—?? Not, um, too bad, I hope!?”
It seemed that in this moment the young woman had no knowledge of what an indoor voice was. But, you couldn’t blame her!
